Connecting
Why bother joining a connection group in a time-pressured culture?
Sunday morning corporate worship is great and often meaningful. But the busyness of everyday life can cause us to become isolated and disconnected from our spiritual family. Interaction with a small group of believers for just a couple of hours a week can help us stay connected to the local body where we can grow, receive care and support, and experience the joy of authentic christian community.
Here are a few places to connect with Christ Covenant members:
Deerfield Home GroupLed by Dan & Kelly Lowry Wednesdays They usually start out with a potluck dinner before the study begins. |
Copper Lakes Home GroupLed by Dominic & Sandra Marconi 2nd & 4th Friday of the month They usually start out with a potluck dinner before the study begins. |
Monday Night Bible StudyLed by Fred Vigil Every Monday A group lead, in-depth bible study either based on a theme, or a book of the bible. |
FreedomLed by Dan and Mary Sue Williams 3rd Friday of the month This group is for those who want fellowship and are free from the cares of children (i.e. don’t require childcare). They usually bring food to share, play games and plan fun outings. |
In addition to these small groups, we have gatherings that are hosted by our Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Youth Ministries, and Prayer Ministries. If you want to connect with one or more of these groups, contact us by email or ask a greeter on Sunday morning.
Come check them out! We’re sure you will find a place to connect and receive life. You’ll be glad you did.
