When most people think of missions, they think of missionaries sent off to foreign and exotic places. In Acts 1:8, Jesus told his disciples, “…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth…” The disciples started in their own back yard before they moved out to the nations. We believe that local mission fields are just as white and ready for harvest as they are overseas. To this end, we support and send missionaries who have a heart to minister in our surrounding community and around the United States.
We also believe it is easier (logistically and financially) for everyday Christians to minister to those who they work with, live next to, and share a common language with, if they will only be intentional and receptive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
