In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus tells His disciples to “…go and make disciples of all nations…”. While we believe this command applies to all Christians, there are those who God calls and gifts to give themselves wholly to this task. Christ Covenant supports many men and women who have answered that call, whether their mission field is overseas in some remote village, or right here in downtown Houston. Every year – our goal as a church is to give away 10% of our operating budget to both global and local missionaries.
In addition, we are passionate about mobilizing our own church body to serve our city and bring tangible hope to the broken. One of our local efforts, “Serve Day” is held every summer and focuses on different anchor projects throughout our community. It’s an incredible church-wide movement where we make a big impact together. We’re all about combining the good deed with the good news. We love our city!
