Camp Date: June 29th – July 2nd | 6th – 12th Grade
HERE ARE THE SEVEN THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
01. DROP OFF/PICK UP: Drop off is at the YMCA on Sunday, June 29th at 9:00am. We will attend first service and then leave right afterwards. And pick up takes place at YMCA on Wednesday, July 2nd at 4:00pm.
02. REMAINING BALANCE: Your camper’s remaining balance is due on Sunday, June 29th when they check in. You can pay by cash or check.
03. TEAM COLOR & THEME DAYS: This year we are the RED TEAM. Each day of camp has a dress theme that the students can choose to be a part of. SUNDAY – Hawaiian Day, MONDAY – Senior Citizen Day, TUESDAY – Team Color Day, WEDNESDAY – Camo Day.
04. WHAT TO PACK: Comfortable Shoes, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Modest Swimwear/Cover Up, Towels, Dirty Clothes Bag, Bathroom Products, Clothes for Recreation, Clothes for Daily Church, and Clothes that can get dirty, Linens or Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Sunscreen, Flashlight, Note Pad, Pen/Pencil, Insect Repellant & Bible.
05. LAKEVIEW CAMP DRESS CODE: Shorts can be worn during the day but must be at least mid-thigh. Small Athletic shorts or Cheerleaders shorts, like those worn in gym class, should not be worn. Abbreviated attire such as half shirts, tank tops, sundresses, spaghetti straps, halter-tops, or crop shirts will not be allowed. This includes shirts with the sides ripped out. Basketball jerseys & tank tops cannot be worn without undershirts. Shoes or flip flops must be worn at all times. This does include to and from the pool, as regulated by the state insurance board. Cover clothing must be worn to and from the swimming pool. Guys, this includes you. T-shirts to cover chest are required.
06. EXTRA CASH: All meals are included in the registration price, except for 1 meal on the road there and 1 meal on the road back from camp. There are also additional costs for concessions and the Apparel Store but these are optional.
07. MEDICATION: If your child needs to take medication while at camp please bring it with you in a zip lock bag (and in its original prescription bottle) to turn in when they check in and also be ready to fill out a medication administration form for given student. We are required to turn in all medication and administration form to the nurses station once we arrive at camp.
